Kirby Heyborne, June 2012

Yep!! That is "Elder Calhoun", live in Nibley, Utah for the 2012 Nibley Heritage Days. He sat and visited with the kids. Trevor thinks they are new best friends. They talked about shooting. We enjoyed a free concert in the park of humorous story telling and singing. Then we got his autograph afterwards, as well. Kirby greeted us at the end with, "We're like old family, now!" It was great.

New Pergola!! June 2012

Our new Pergola!! Thanks to my mom for telling me about a "Pergola"!! Now we can sit out on our deck in the evening.

It blocks the setting sun!!

A Little Hike, June 2012

Dad decided to take us on a little "hike". We walked along the river for about 1/2 mile. It was shaded and nice. Then we turned up. Dad said, "The first part is the hardest." We didn't realize that the "first part" was 1 mile uphill!! We finally made it to the top of the "China Wall". We thought, "Oh, this is nice. We are on top of the world. We can see a long ways. I wonder how we get back down!" We walked, and walked, and walked, and walked. Then finally Whitnee shouted, "We made it, mom! We are finally going down!" After 2 hours of hiking, we started down. After another hour, we made it to the truck!! WE DID MAKE IT!!
